Many beginners ask, “Am I doing Zazen right?”

The honest answer: There is no single right way. There is only showing up.

If you sit and breathe with sincerity, you are practicing.

Still, here are three common concerns:

  1. I can’t stop my thoughts. You don’t need to. Just notice them. Let them pass like clouds.
  2. I feel restless. That’s okay. Sit with the restlessness. Let it be part of the practice.
  3. I’m not sure I’m doing anything. That’s a good sign. Zen is subtle. It works quietly.

Zen isn’t about performance. It’s about presence.

Just keep sitting. The path appears under your feet.
